When do you require the services of an extradition lawyer?
Extradition proceedings have a fundamental and rapid impact on personal liberty as well as on the subsequent direction of criminal proceedings. The decision determines whether the client will be extradited to a foreign state, or surrendered within the EU on the basis of a European Arrest Warrant. The time limits are short, the procedural rules differ from standard criminal proceedings, and the court's decision relies to a significant extent on a qualified defense asserted within the first few days.

Examples of Our Work
Representation of the client in extradition proceedings
The client was surrendered to the requesting state upon his request to be closer to his relatives, after having been detained following a traffic accident due to a lack of personal identification documents and a high blood alcohol concentration (approximately 0.3%). Subsequently, it was established that he was sought by an EU member state for the execution of a custodial sentence in connection with a traffic offense.
