We are seeking an Attorney-at-Law

We specialize in financial, commercial and criminal law and build our firm around these three pillars. We work for clients who have higher expectations and the corresponding financial means: regulated entities, family businesses, managers, and demanding private clients. Some of our cases go all the way to foreign courts, while others begin at six in the morning with a phone call informing us that a house search is underway at a client's premises. Furthermore, if you enjoy criminal law and know how to connect it with economic or regulatory aspects, you will have an advantage with us!

Why Join Us

High-profile cases. We represent clients in licensing proceedings before the Czech National Bank, in cross-border arbitrations, and in defense cases where financial and criminal aspects intertwine. Due to professional confidentiality, you cannot discuss some of these even with friends, but the work is intellectually stimulating.

Direct insight into the legislative process. The firm's Managing Partner serves as an advisor to the Chamber of Deputies in the field of the digital economy. We know what is being drafted and what is worth monitoring.

Academic overlap. Several of our colleagues lecture at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. If you wish to contribute to professional journals or speak at conferences, you will be allocation time and provided with support.

International reach. We collaborate with partner firms abroad, including in jurisdictions such as Armenia, China, and Taiwan. A portion of our agenda is conducted in English, German, or French.

Criminal law is not a secondary line of practice. We operate a crisis hotline for urgent interventions, summons for questioning, or detentions. If you have experience in criminal defense or a focused interest in developing this practice, you will be given the space to build a criminal law agenda under the firm's brand.

What We Require
  • Successful completion of the bar exam and at least two years of post-qualification experience.

  • An eye for detail and a deep knowledge of the applicable law in the practice area you will be joining.

  • A genuine interest in one of our three practice areas; experience in criminal defense is highly valued.

  • The ability to manage proceedings and communicate with clients independently, without close supervision.

  • English language proficiency of at least level B2, enabling professional document drafting and client negotiations. Proficiency in an additional language is a welcome asset.

What We Offer
  • Remuneration starting from CZK 110,000 per month, further adjusted based on your experience and your share in the practice you build with us.

  • The opportunity to purposefully develop your own specialization.

  • Participation in publishing activities and conferences, funding for professional training, and access to legal databases.

  • An office in Prague - Vinohrady, located a few minutes from the Náměstí Míru metro station, a mobile phone, a laptop, and a Multisport card (offered as a benefit, not as a substitute for remuneration).

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

We serve demanding clients, which corresponds to our pace and high standards of diligence. Consequently, it is occasionally necessary to work beyond standard office hours, and exceptionally on weekends. However, this is by no means the norm. We value personal collaboration and prefer working together in person at the office.
